Whistling Winds Animal Getaway (WWAG) is located on just over 62 acres of beautiful countryside just outside of Oxford WI. We are minutes from interstate 39 and only 16 miles from Wisconsin Dells. Your pet will enjoy the safe country environment away from the hustle and bustle of town, yet close enough for convenience!

We at Whistling Winds Animal Getaway strive to provide your pets with the same comforts and love they would get at home. We work together as a family to provide onsite care for your furry friends. We offer many amenities including in-floor heat, large outdoor play runs, elevated orthopedic beds, many outdoor playtimes, on-site grooming, indoor playtimes, and many optional add-ons. We take intact animals, in season females, and animals in need of medications.

Boarding Services

We offer long term boarding, short term boarding and doggy daycare! Whether you are away on an extended vacation or need a sitter for your furry friend while you are at work Whistling Winds Animal Getaway is the place for your beloved pets! We have standard rooms as well as luxury suites available. We have full day slots available for Doggy Daycare to keep your pooch active and happy while you’re busy during the day. Training Services

WWAG offers a variety of training options that should fit the needs of everyone. We specialize in dog training that involves the whole family! We will tailor our board-and-train program to suit your needs. We offer a puppy program, family dog training, formal obedience, and basic gundog. We also offer weekly classes where you come to our facility with your dog to learn alongside them! Contact us today for information on availability.

Marquette County Animal Control Services

We recently reached an agreement with Marquette County to provide our services as the impoundment facility and Animal Control Officer for the county effective January, 2025.
